Short on cash? Need some money now? I will show you the absolute fastest way to make $200, and I will prove it.
If you research the internet, you can find lots of suggestions to make money. Unfortunately, most of the ideas take some money to get started, so I am giving you the fastest way to make $200 right now. You can then use this money to launch your business. Or perhaps you need some quick cash to pay a bill or buy a present for a loved one. Whatever causes your need for money, there is one fast way to get it: selling something.
What Is The Fastest Way To Make $200
What To Sell?
Sell stuff. Everyone has things sitting around, unused. Just take a good look in your house or apartment, in closets, garages, storage sheds, and anywhere stuff resides. You can probably find things you can sell, make some extra money, and you reduce clutter.
How Do I Sell It?
The easiest way is Facebook Marketplace. Just go to Facebook and click on the menu. Then, choose Marketplace and click on Sell. From there, add a photo, a price, and a description and click publish. It is so fast and straightforward easy you will be surprised. Next, wait, and people will contact you about buying. It would help if you priced things right for them to sell quickly. People are looking for great deals, and remember, these are things you don’t want or need anymore.
The Fastest Way To Make $200 Put To The Test
While I have used Facebook Marketplace to sell things before, I wanted to put this idea to the test. So I started looking around my home for something I never use anymore to sell and convert into cash. I had some ideas in mind as there were items that were just in the way, and I had meant to do something with them for a long time. I live in a small condo, and space is a premium to me. So here is what I found.
Melissa and Doug Kids Workbench

I bought this years ago for my Grandson, and it has just been sitting here getting in the way. I have meant to get rid of it for a long time. Within minutes I snapped a photo and listed it on Facebook. -$35.
The Holiday Carousel

The Holiday Carousel is another item that takes up valuable space in my closet. Snap a picture, list it on Facebook. – $50.
Keto Mojo Ketone And Blood Glucose Monitor

Ah yes, the keto diet phase that came and went in about a week. Now on Facebook. -$25.
(Facebook rejected this as they don’t allow medical measurement devices.)
Handicap Shower Bench

From when I had knee surgery. Very useful then but not needed now. You guessed it, on Facebook. -$15.
Jabra Bluetooth Speaker

I haven’t used this in years—$ 75.
Nikon D3000 Camera.

I have not used this camera in seven years. The flash doesn’t work, and I have meant to get rid of it for years—$ 100.
Star Wars Light Sabers

Star Wars lightsabers are one of the best toys I ever bought for my Grandson. Both Grandkids and I had a lot of fun with these, but now they have to go—$ 35.
So there you have it. In less than 30 minutes, I found seven items to sell and listed on Facebook Marketplace. So how did I do?
- Day 1 I made nothing.
- Day 2 I was up to $135 as I had sold the kids workbench and the camera.
- Days 3,4,5 there was no change. Still stuck on $135.
- Day 6 I was feeling a little defeated but one person on day 2 had expressed that she wanted the light sabers but it was too far for her to drive. I contacted her and said I could bring it to her and she said great. She also made me an offer for the carousel, the shower bench, and the speaker and I accepted it. So on day 6 I was at $205!
Conclusion
So in 6 days, I made $205. More important to me is to show that there are ways to make money. So many times, I hear people say, “I don’t have the money to start a business,” when many opportunities are less than $100 to start. I realize that not everyone will have things they can sell but at least try. Look around and see what you can find.
You will need to be flexible on your prices as you WILL get offered less than your listed price. If you add up the things I listed, it would have been $310. My first two items sold for what I listed, but I made a package deal on the remaining items because they bought all of them.
So take the money you make, put that towards a new business, and grow it into something bigger. And in case you are wondering, I gave the lightsaber and workbench money to my Grandkids. So my final thought is I feel I proved the fastest way to make $200 is selling on Facebook Marketplace.
